ACER
2015
Bone provided the blade and wood provided the handle.
Organic textures of these primitive tool making materials live on within ACER - a bronze cutting instrument. The weight of this obsolete material enhances the movement and efficiency of the knife. The slender body, which suggest the placement of a hand, also bridges the two points where the objects core is revealed: a sharp plane along his spine indicates a direction through to the bevel of the blade.
