Design of an 70 sqm apartment in a 1960s residential building located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris.
Light renovation work was carried out to improve the quality of the space, removing walls to create an open, airy living and dining area – in contrast with the saturated urban landscape outside.
Colour blocks were deployed to give a strong identity to the apartment, with different hues for each room applied in simple geometric shapes. The floor boards were painted over to bring extra luminosity and uniformity.
Through meticulous curation, every new and vintage piece of furniture falls into place.
